OVERVIEW OF POSITIONS

PARKING TEAM:

This is a mobile position. The primary responsibility of our parking lot hosts is to help people find a parking spot and welcome everyone who pulls in. This role is our very first touch so we want it to be a good one. we want to greet everyone who pulls in with a friendly smile and a wave. This role requires you to constantly be looking for people who need help. This might be an elderly person who needs help getting into the building, or this might be a young family/parent who needs help with kids and all their stuff. Regardless of who they are or if they need help we always want to say hi to everyone and let them know we are glad they are here. Remember, people decide whether or not they like a church before they ever enter the building.

DOOR GREETER:

This is a stationary position. The primary responsibility of a door greeter is to greet every guest who walks through our doors with a smile and let them know you are glad to see them. This happens verbally and non-verbally. As a greeter you will let our guests know you are glad they came by telling them, but also by your body language. this can be accomplished by holding the door open for everyone who comes in, greeting everyone with a smile, and saying something like "Welcome to Bethel...We are glad you are here today." This will seem repetitive to you, but remember it is the first time our guests are hearing it.

WELCOME DESK HOST:

This is a stationary position. The primary responsibilities of a welcome desk host are to welcome guests, answer any questions they might have about what to expect, and connect them to a lobby host who can meet their needs. This role requires you to constantly be on the lookout for new people, and love them well by proactively finding ways to help them have a good experience.

LOBBY HOST:

This is a mobile position. The primary responsibilities of a lobby host are to help everyone navigate our facilities, and meet the needs of our guests. This begins to calm fears, and remove barriers so people can hear the truth about God and experience Him in a greater way. This role requires you to constantly be on the lookout for people who need help, and either help them personally or find someone who can.

USHER TEAM:

This is a stationary position. The primary responsibilities of an usher are to greet every guest who comes into the auditorium, offer them a worship guide, and help make it easy for guests to find a seat. among many fears our guest may have, one of them is wondering if they will be able to find a seat. As we grow we want to eliminate this fear by making it easy for our guest to find a seat. This is a great way to make our guests feel loved and cared for.

SAFETY TEAM:

This is a mobile position. The primary responsibility of the safety team are to create a safe place for our guest to hear the truth about God. This role requires you to always be aware of what is going on around you. During the time you are serving you will keep watch over a zone of our facilities and look for ways to serve our guests and eliminate anything that could cause them harm.

HOST TEAM COORDINATOR:

This is a mobile position. The primary responsibility of a Host Team Coordinator is to provide care and resources to make sure our host team is successful. This role will require you to check in with our volunteers each week and make sure they are physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy. Remember we cannot lead anyone where we have not been. If our team is unhealthy so will their interactions with guests.
